Providing stability to the Alberta electricity grid

Evolve is accelerating the energy transition and providing stability to the Alberta electricity grid by delivering innovative energy storage solutions

Powering Alberta

Electricity plays a fundamental role in everyday life – powering our homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. Reliable energy connects us and is fundamental to our quality of life.

As the grid transitions to an increased reliance on intermittent renewables, such as wind and solar power, Albertans are faced with increasing electricity prices. Innovative solutions are required to ensure that electricity remains reliable and affordable. Alberta needs energy storage solutions to support the energy transition and provide grid stability.

By storing intermittent renewable electricity, we can access power when we need it most, whether or not the wind is blowing, or the sun is shining.

Our focus is on the future, creating jobs, investing locally, protecting our community and the environment, and providing energy storage solutions for Albertans.
